Wasn't it Clinton who signed the brady bill into law? And I believe the assault weapon ban that he passed should also be considered another piece of significant gun control.

And did either of those that he signed into law do any good at all to stop criminals? Or did they just infringe on the rights of law abiding people?

Clinton signed it into law, but it was in the works for a while.

Reagan supported the bill and wrote an op-Ed explaining why, here it is, take a look.

"Why I'm for the Brady Bill" by Ronald Reagan

Do you consider him the main fool who took away your constitutional rights?
Just because I'm for the 2nd Amendment, doesn't mean that I think people need 50 cal machine guns. I want people to enforce the laws that are on the books.

In California, they have a backlog of over 40,000 guns in the hands of the mentally ill and convicted felons.

Well said, EZ. Some people think that, after all people like you and your family have done to preserve the American way, they have a right to redefine it. Not so.

So it was Clinton and not Reagan.

And the assult weapon ban Clinton also signed into law is also "significant gun control".

So you were wrong on both of your claims. Do you really not have a clue, and just make this shit up as you go and expect people to believe it? Or do you lie about it on purpose for a reason?

All the Feds will determine is that the shooters didn't have a bracelet and didn't follow the rules.
The bracelet manufacture is a personal friends .......Obama, Biden or Holder?

First of all EZ thank you for your service. 2nd it will be a cold day in hell before I wear a tracking bracelet to carry a gun. Just shows how out of touch those morons are in office.

Thanks but I was drafted so only three options:
1. Go in. I enlisted. I wanted to be highly trained if I was going.
2. Go to jail.
3. Go to Canada and disgrace myself and family.

Apparently, the gun won't fire unless it is close to the bracelet. I would think that you could wrap the bracelet around the butt of the gun or the chip on a pistol.

JL, you know how I feel about this. Do you remember when Netanyahu schooled Obama? You could see the contempt on his face. This was after Obama wanted Israel to go back to the '67 borders.

Like many of the rest of you have said, making responsible gun owners wear bracelets, have fingerprint scanners is ludicrous. Criminals will always obtain weapons through any means necessary so why make it more difficult for me to protect myself, my family and my property?

The liberals expect you to rely on the police. Oh wait, they hate them, too.

Agreed. What they don't take into account is when you live out like I do the police are 30 min away. A 9 mm and a 12 ga beats 911 any day.
