I wish they read them. So I'm going to put my lights on a timer.

Motion switch would probably work better

Since you're out of the country I just might bring the lawn chairs, beer cooler and fishing poles and camp out on your deck.

I'm in the states. Hell, no need for you to bring your chairs, I got my own.

Dude, you turn the lights on under water.... They attract fishermen, as much as fish.

The motion sensor can be mounted above the water.

Because the boat gets you to the best spots to get out and wade fish. But I don't wade much anymore. Slurping through nasty bay mud is not my idea of enjoyment. The thought of a stingray encounter also keeps me in the boat.

However, surf wading can be fantastic in May, June and July, if it is calm and "green to the beach". Nothing fights harder than a "surf run" speck.

A damn jack crevalle do; one of those sea-mules dang near made me drown myself chasing him while trying not to get spooled. But he spooled me anyhow and SNAP...the jack hit the road to Yucatan. I think I may have scared him a little, though.

I'd put those bastards ahead of bonefish and permit for kicking wade-fisherman ass. All 3 have kicked mine, but the worst was the crevally. I think the allure of bonefish and permit is the thrill of the hunt, while hooking a jack crevalle is usually an accident.

But if your wading in the bays I would think you would be smart enough to wear waders... Don't waders protect you from sting rays?

I am afraid to go in the water myself only because I cut the bottom of my foot extremely bad on a oyster reef and Ive never been the same since that day... Also now that I have witnessed the big ass fish that you can catch in 3ft of water makes me definitely not want to get in... lol

But the fish that gave me a 30 min fight was a red that summabitch had me tired & my arm was numb by the time I got him up on the pier... If there is alot of people with lines in the water and you hook a red your about to be in for a ride since they like to swim side to side... Sigh lol

Go to academy. This is the time of year where you can find a decent pair of waders on clearance. Bass Pro also has a good selection.

This is the time of year when I fish the bay's. When spring comes around I'll be at the North and South jetties. I've been spoiled many times by jacks and even had my rod jerked from my hands.

Fishing report by the Aussie. Few specks hitting on top water. A lot of fresh water in the bay's.

NAW...Those bastards dorsiflex and usually pop ankles or shins.

Some of my more risk averse buddies wore something like this here:

https://www.austinkayak.com/products...FdKDfgodspgLxw

http://jerrylabella.com/stingray_guards_specs

I don't...just wore old canvas Converse hightops and hoped for the best. Worked for me! But not my buddy, even with the dang kevlar of whatever it was he was wearing...the barb found a seam. Needless to say we razzed his ass unmercifully until he died (not from razzing, from a heart attack).

The reds were running at Rollover Pass early last week. I was there in the morning and pulled out 1 nice sized red. I witnessed other folks catching 8-10 bull reds on surf side.
