I was planning on coming into town for Mardi Gras.....What do you all think?

Take someone with you if you go out to the strip clubs! They tend to be dangerous for a girl all alone!

Scout out your hotel and get all the details and special rules. A load of ordinances are put in place to make sure your room is your sanctuary.

If you're coming to enjoy Mardi Gras, have fun. If you're coming for work it may or may not be a good time. You could have some business for tourists but if you're staying downtown I think a lot of locals will stay away. Depending on the days and times, traffic, road blocks and a lack of parking will be major factors to consider.
