Getting friends into the chat room...
So you're perusing the various forums here on E when you notice someone on your buddy list is now online. You'd love to join them in the chat room, but the only way to contact them is either a) send them a PM and hope they see it and get over to the chat room, or b) call or text them if you happen to have their phone number.
Wouldn't it be cool if there were a way to "flash" them a message? I think I've seen this before somewhere, but I couldn't tell you where (due to lack of memory, not because I wouldn't want to share). Anyway, you type a short message, click on a button by their name, and a message window pops up on their screen.
Is this even possible on here?
