when a lady can accept credit cards? I have been thinking of getting set up to accept them, but not sure if it would make a difference?
Do any of you ladies accept them and find that it helps? Or have you gotten burnt accepting them? Do you only accept them from someone you already have meet, or from anyone?

I personally would never use a credit card -- thats a paper trail -- and I dont want a paper trail

Ditto on what Boom said. Cash only is the way to go for both you and the hobbyist, I think. Besides, to verify that a credit card isn't stolen or whatever, you would need to see I.D. which is a big no in my book. Also, if you do run a stolen CC, do you really want that kind of attention from the credit agency and inevitably the police? I think no paper trail/cash only is the way to go.

.....on the flip side there are some well known providers (many HDHs) who have discrete credit card billing options

I get a kick out of guys that will use their CCs and debit cards at strip clubs (even hand them to a waitress for a period of time); however, balk at what PrincessLeeGFE is asking about...

I agree dennis --- I dont get the whole credit card at the SC either, I am strictly cash when it comes to this

there are business that needs credit cards and others they do need it ...i dont want my kitty get stand up on a credit card that doesnt go threw.

I guess it's more popular in Cali a lot of ladies take them, but only from ppl they have seen before. I had asked one lady if she ever had any chargebacks, etc and she had not had any issues, not to say it couldn't happen. I would create a business name something to do with "Consulting" you can have it under "whatever" because I know I have paid for some stuff on paypal and it will say the charge will show under the name "The Pink" or something weird.
In Cali I would do things like all day date auction and it would be an auction to spend the day together and would include going out as well as staying in. Guys could pay cash or take me shopping and use their cc or a combo. Boyfriend for the day auctions were always very popular and FUN!

It's not something that you would let the world know you did, Lee.

Your really good friends won't mind, once they know what it looks like on their credit card statements, and they know they don't have to justify it with the SO.

CC's aren't an issue for me. I'd actually prefer it. I'm probably one of few that have no problems with it. Especially nice when you can just prebook & pay with it and not have to worry about having cash when you get there. Again probably just me but my circumstances are different than most.
