I voted for Ron Paul in the '08 primary.

As far as spending goes, it does not m,ake a lick of difference between the GOP canadites and Dems.

But social issues there is a big divide, so I voted for Obama in the general.

The Tea Folks hate Obama but will not support Ron Paul in significant numbers because of his foreign policy positions.

The Tea Folks were the ones protesting Obama care with posters of , "Keep the Government out of my Medicare' Now if you think that makes sense , then you think the Tea Party is smarter than they actually are. They are a branch of the GOP and are to dumb to realize it.

from a tea party pov... who cares ? Neither party will stop spending. I vote Dem because the GOP is to far right socially for my taste. I do not understand why the Tea Folks care either way if cutting spending is their main objective. That is why I do not believe you tea folks. You say one thing but vote a different way. The Tea Folks are drifting behind Rick Santorum. Do you think he will cut Defense? Without cutting Defense, there is no way in hell you can bend the spending curve.
