Yoga with 83 - an amazing woman!

Wow,
I find this person to me amazing. I recently started looking into Yoga and this is what i found. My deepest respects to that Lady:

"Yoga instructor Bette Calman may be 83, but she's still bending over backwards to spread the benefits of the ancient Indian discipline.

Yes but she still looks old doesn't she? I know flexibility is great and everything (I actually love yoga, makes me feel great), but it bothers me how a lot of afficionados of yoga don't look very good.

This seek I saw a photo of Russell Simmons in the sea and he looked awful, probably older than his years. He writes in such a great way about yoga in 'Do You' and all the healthy ways he eats and sleeps and everything - and then he looks awful. Will go off and see if I can find the photo I'm talking about.

I`d say for 83 she does look good. Its about how the wrinkles are placed, if they make you a frown or if they make you look happy. Granted, she did not botox herself up or be lifted.

Lol! I heard Joan Rivers is in her 70's I think...I always wondered what she would look like from the neck down naked

But that yoga being 83,That is very impressive as I work out very dedicatedly,she may even have me beat at her techniques...I hope to never give up and see the age of 80's.Some never make it that far and on the other hand some I have seen in 20's and 30's look"a little harder" then they should.

It's not about how it makes your face look, it's about what it does for your body both in looks and benefits. You can feel like you're in your 30s at 80. If you're really concerned about looking 40 at 80, I'd imagine the yoga would take care of the physique and plastic surgery would take care of the rest.

As far as someone who got it right? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_LaLanne - you think he didn't do yoga ?
