Vaccine Victory: How COVID-19 shots slash all-cause mortality

https://www.globalvaccinedatanetwork...misinformation

The studies she refers to mostly used data in the 2020 to 2022 time period. I don't think there would be a significant difference in all cause mortality for people getting vaccinated in 2024 compared to people who don't get vaccinated, now that everyone has immunity from the disease and/or vaccination. Still anyone who's 85 years old or who has conditions making him particularly susceptible to death by COVID would be foolish not to get a booster. Or a flu shot.

Well don't cattle Farmers vaccinate their livestock? Secondly not all cows are grass fed many farmers use special feed and synthetic hormone type drugs to increase size rapidly. Now I am don't know the methods or the exact drugs they use but I've read articles about the subject, so why does it appear inaccurate?

Maybe I just got up on the right side of the bed today. I want to share a little something we often overlook or forget that it even exists. I call it -- Relatable and Reliable REALITY. Simple fact: we are not going to live forever, but we can choose to live as best we can, while we can.

Here is a book that may come in handy for many, to help you focus a bit more on it: Being Mortal by Atul Gawande
Quote:
From Atul Gawande, a book that has the potential to change medicine – and lives.

Medicine has triumphed in modern times, transforming the dangers of childbirth, injury, and disease from harrowing to manageable. But when it comes to the inescapable realities of aging and death, what medicine can do often runs counter to what it should.

Through eye-opening research and gripping stories of his own patients and family, Gawande reveals the suffering this dynamic has produced. Nursing homes, devoted above all to safety, battle with residents over the food they are allowed to eat and the choices they are allowed to make. Doctors, uncomfortable discussing patients’ anxieties about death, fall back on false hopes and treatments that are actually shortening lives instead of improving them. And families go along with all of it.

In his bestselling books, Atul Gawande, a practicing surgeon, has fearlessly revealed the struggles of his profession. Now he examines its ultimate limitations and failures – in his own practices as well as others’ – as life draws to a close. And he discovers how we can do better. He follows a hospice nurse on her rounds, a geriatrician in his clinic, and reformers turning nursing homes upside down. He finds people who show us how to have the hard conversations and how to ensure we never sacrifice what people really care about.

Riveting, honest, and humane, Being Mortal shows that the ultimate goal is not a good death but a good life – all the way to the very end.

Reviews

“A deeply affecting, urgently important book – one not just about dying and the limits of medicine but about living to the last with autonomy, dignity, and joy.” – Katherine Boo

“We have come to medicalize aging, frailty, and death, treating them as if they were just one more clinical problem to overcome. However, it is not only medicine that is needed in one’s declining years but life – a life with meaning, a life as rich and full as possible under the circumstances. Being Mortal is not only wise and deeply moving, it is an essential and insightful book for our times, as one would expect from Atul Gawande, one of our finest physician writers.” – Oliver Sacks

“American medicine, Being Mortal reminds us, has prepared itself for life but not for death. This is Atul Gawande’s most powerful – and moving – book.” – Malcolm Gladwell

SO you think immunity to a disease, based on a shot vs. infection, means lacking immunity. Not saying that the body doesn't create more anti-bodies from infection than from immunizations- but Immunity or a defense against a disease is all the same- You may be MORE immune after having the disease- as it was a fullblown reaction to it, vs. activating T cells, but in the end- it's a what doesn't kill you mentality. Or are you somehow thinking that the unvaxxed heard is a "better" immunity crowd? LOL.

The general gist of it is: Just because we can, medically speaking, does not nessisarily mean we should.

I think the whole point the Censorship Industrial Complex was pushing was something akin to natural immunity was the worst kind of immunity. I think Bill Maher coined that phrase.

But if one puts on ye Olde memory cap, one would recall that the shot was pushed to avoid getting sick at all. Leastwise until they realized it didn't. That's when they came up it with you won't get nearly as sick. When that didn't pan out, they went with...

Actually Dr Birks is back in the news cycle basically fessing up to it lately.

A businessman in his early 80's (now around 85) worked out at the gym I go to. He went super early, 5:00 AM. He not only still worked and was super witty, but for his age was in about as good a shape as anyone. I used to follow him around, figuring I'd build up my self esteem by knowing how much more I could lift than he could. That didn't last long. He'd do over 100 pounds on the bench press machine and about the same for leg curls, which is pretty good in your 80's.

If I remember correctly, he got the COVID vaccines in early 2021 and no boosters.

He got COVID at a party around February of last year. And he's been on oxygen ever since, as a result of the COVID. If he'd gotten a couple of boosters I bet he'd be fine. He wouldn't be walking around with an oxygen concentrator.

I saw him at the gym for the first time in a long time this week and he was accompanied by a caretaker. And it was at 9:00 AM, not 5:00 AM.

Like falling and breaking a hip, getting COVID at an advanced age is not desirable.

Vaccinate for what? Treat for what? Pretty much all cows do graze on a lot of grass, but often have to eat alfalfa and other feed to get through the winter.

Have you checked the amount of hormones in the vegetables you eat?

You basically are spouting the agenda driven science that isn't accurate.

Well here's a vaccine schedule. Apparently Cattle are being vaccinated somewhere, and no I haven't checked for hormones in fruits and vegetables. I am sure they are tainted with all kinds of crap that our bodies can do without.

Please don’t get vaccinated. Please don’t.

HOWEVER, based on the day in and day out rhetoric from the anti science antivaxxers, anti sanity fellas around here, you ALL already have been vaccinated … with a phonograph needle.

Leave that poor dead horse alone.

By your own admission you caught Covid after being vaccinated. so you are in no position to ridicule anybody who wasn't vaccinated.

Yes, Doctors will put you on a ventilator if your lungs are full of a virus and you can't breath on your own. When Trump got infected with SARS_CoV2 virus his blood oxygen level dropped to 95
(100) is normal. When this happened Trumps doctors gave Trump the Regeneron Monoclonal Antibodies, Zinc, Vitamin D3 and a cortical steroid to control inflamation. I don't think nerves had anything to do with that. Remember Trump did not believe in wearing a mask. The original variant of SARS_CoV2 virus from Wuhan, China was very easy to catch, more so than Influenza_A. Trump sure did catch it.
