Need Some Downtown Recommendations

First time here in Austin, staying downtown for the week. Food and bar recommendations would be great!

Food:
- High end Mexican: ATX Cucina and Comedor are both excellent
- Peche has solid food and cocktails (specialize in Absinthe)
- Trulock, Eddie Vs for seafood
- Backspace: great Neapolitan pizza and anti-pasti
- Couple of decent steakhouses (Perry's, etc)


Bars:
- Great seated bar cocktails (Roosevelt Room, Small Victory, Midnight Cowdy, Eden's Cocktails)
- Firehouse Lounge is a hidden access speakeasy with good cocktails
- P6: great views overlooking the lake
- Rainey Street: close to downtown, lots of bars, more 20s-ish on weekends


ACL music festival starts on Friday, so it will be a shit show in town. Reservations will be required (even at some of the bars)..

The Texas Chili Parlour on Lavaca! Historical dive with a full bar that is very homey! Dirty Martin's has some of the best burgers and fries/onion rings on the planet. Get the OT Special!
