Lake Charles and Sulfer has no rooms so every one is coming down here.?


The one I normaaly stay at wants $234 a night??? FOR BEAUMONT TEXAS???????

And.... Might I add getting to a hotel in Beaumont Texas from Houston is nerve racking...Putting up those concrete barriers on both sides of a one lane hway and making the smallest lanes possible......
NOT good at night with a person who hastes driving in a claustrophobic atmosphere anyway.
Hope they fix that quickly.

Yeah, there was more flooding in LC about a month ago - suspect there are a lot of displaced people using rooms in this area.

On the drive in from Houston just past Winnie, yeah, those concrete barriers are nerve-wracking, especially at night. I avoid that area as much as I can. You might want to try taking the Winnie exit (Hwy 73) and take a left on Hwy 124 - that road parallels I-10. When you get to Hwy 365, take a left and that'll get you back on I-10 past the construction area.
