I have no idea why that would matter. A deposit is strictly to lessen the financial risk that a lady puts up $ first room, travel, etc. and then a guy doesn't show. No clue what being a porn star or being well known has to do with it.

I've also returned deposits when plans changed.

Dude...thousands of appointments take place in any given city in a month. Once a month there is usually some sorta drama about a stolen deposit or similiar. Multiply that times 5 for the ones who didn't speak up cause y'all troll each other too lol. So let's say 6 out of a 4,000 a month. Where I do not condone this behavior, it doesn't happen nearly as often as we get NC/NSed after checking into a room.

Also your more at risk for this...so you should start crawling everywhere just in case.

There are lots of arguments to pay or not to pay but there is one undeniable truth that trumps everything else..... folks making a deposit or prepaying for an illegal activity is outrageous. It is so risky on so many levels I’m not going to go into it. I’m surprised it’s not being mentioned more in this thread. Be smart and be careful out there ladies and gents!
