I thought it was good, not nearly as good as its hyped to be, but really these movies are more made for the fans of the movies rather than longtime comic fans. I am satisfied with the direction they went though, it was different than I went in expecting

Like many movies, it gets better in subsequent viewings.
It was way better the second time I saw it.

Plenty of "Spoiler Alerts" plastered all over social media, as everyone can attest to.....
A number that stands out (early exit polls) is that 3.5 out of every 10 movie goer is "Definite" in regards to seeing it "at least" a Second Time. In today's market, that's huge.
Considering that (AND) the opening weekend numbers ($1.3 Billion Worldwide), this movie could set all time box office record$ we may never see again.
Disney execs have gotta be lighting up Victory Cigars, dontcha think? Here's to you, Stan....Nuff Said!

Gotta throw my 2 cents in and say I thought endgame was about as near perfect a movie I have seen in a long while. It delivered everything it needed to. Redemption for the heroes, paying homage to the last 21 movies, and setting up the future of the universe. I saw someone mention them cramming as many heroes into the movie as possible. I have to disagree as the movie truly focused in on the original members of team avenger until the final battle.
I'm not a huge comic book guy but I have seen all the movies multiple times and thought they did an excellent job of calling back to the previous movies and answering questions some of the heroes had.
As for Thor, his role was comic relief but also he lost more than anyone else when you include the opening scene of infinity war. Also a feeling he failed the most as he was the only one truely with the power to stop thanos and failed to do so. I could go on and on. But I agree with the statement for me it was so much better the 2nd time I saw it. I left the 1st time thinking infinity war was better, the 2nd time it felt like they couldn't have done any better. 9/10 and would be 10/10 if not for the forced captain marvel/female empowerment bull crap

Spoiler, for any schmoes that still [somehow] haven't seen it...[fuck y'all waiting on, btw]... Yeah, going back in time to the day your mom died and having to relive that day, damn...devastating.
Thor supposedly can beat Thanos one on one, if you go by the comics. But damn, Thanos has been OWNING this dude. Outside from one throw and swipe with Stormbreaker, he...let's say, hasn't looked good in any other confrontations with Thanos.
For Thanos not to be a god, he's been bending these gods over...couple of them, at least. ...end spoiler.
The 'girl power' moment, I didn't think was too bad. For the most part, I think it just made for a nice poster shot, if nothing else.

Oh, can you imagine what DC/Warner Bros. must be thinking now. It's gotta be like watching your enemy/rival bang your incredibly hot daughter.

That's a Big Ten-Four! Lovely young lady indeed.
And her character, Captain Marvel......is a total badass. From the word GO.
If you guys have not checked out her debut film yet, you need to do so. It gives you the entire scoop per Carol Danvers and the force she becomes.
I get the " forced girl power" observation....I thought the same thing for a second or two myself as it unfolded on the screen. But then I thought So What?...it was a nice gesture to highlight all the female supers Stan and Jack created coming together; even if just for a few frames....so no harm done.

They should’ve called it Infinity War 2. It was a fun movie with some good laughs and solid action, but I wouldn’t rank it in the top 10 Marvel movies. I’d go as far to say that Black Panther is better because at least it was a new concept and wasn’t overly sentimental.

That's a curious assessment.
Mind sharing your Top 10 MCU movies then? We see you've already highlighted Black Panther as better than Endgame....so where does it rank on that list, amongst the other 9?
Don't get me wrong....I'm not pickin' a fight; just interested in your list, Bruce.
Movies....just like providers...WALDT, right?

Saw Captain Marvel and Avengers Endgame last week.
These Marvel movies just don't do anything for me. They are fun but I don't hardly ever rewatch them. One viewing is enough. Also all that stuff you read on the net about each movie, hidden messages, connections to other Marvel movies, I don't get the connections.
And all those ending credits scenes are just lost on me plus I can't never remember what happen in the previous one. So everytime there is a new Avengers or Iron Man or Guardians or Thor or Captain America movie, I have to go to WIKI and read up again about the previous ones because I can't remember what happened in those or who each character is except for Scarlett Johansson of course. These films are just not memorable enough for me to retain information about all of them - but I remember everything and every minute detail about every Star Wars movie ever made, all 10 of them.
