Planning a Little Rock trip!

So, I'm planning to visit Little Rock soon and was wondering what days of the week would be good to visit! Any suggestions on great places to eat? What about local shopping?

That's exciting! I tend to do best on weekdays. Little Rock has some amazing restaurants so for Mexican food I would suggest Cantina Laredo, The Faded Rose for Cajun Food, and Istanbul for Turkish cuisine. The Promenade in Chenal is my go to place for shopping. I hope you have a great visit and get to enjoy the amazing gents we have here in Little Rock! Feel free to PM me if you have any questions

I am really glad you posted this. I myself am planning on a trip to LR in 2 weeks. And I am beyond clueless about the area.
Any advice anyone can give is greatly appreciated!

Little Rock has an amazing restaurant scene for a small city. There are so many great places to eat that you should never have to slum it at a chain restaurant.

Little Rock looks like some kick ass ladies are coming to visit!!
My trip is postponed til the weekend before Halloween due to a family function i had forgotten about.

I would suggest staying in West Little Rock and avoiding anything around I630/Fair Park and all of Southwest Little Rock. I would also avoid Downtown, but since everyone says it "isn't that bad" I suppose that's just me being picky.

+1..wise advice...downtown may not be hard to navigate but not as conducive to a good.hobby experience..avoid where she mentions pretty much everything u need is within easy driving distance
