It's actually sort of great.
I have met some of my best friends through this hobby, and truth be told.. There are some really great guys in Dallas and some really great guys in the hobby in general.
I do this job for an hour or two a day and the best part (after meeting great people) is that my time is my own. I'm pretty zen and I believe in all that sleeping ten hours a night, putting good food in my body,..I love to cook huge meals for my friends and I have the time to do that..I love waking up and doing yoga each morning, reading for at least a couple of hours a day by the pool. I have a very healthy and relaxed attitude about sex. So this is so fun, sometimes funny.. Fulfilling and wonderful. I can sure think of worst ways to spend an afternoon.
I know this won't last forever.. But I'm sure enjoying it while I can.

There are drawbacks.. Sometimes you don't hit it off with someone, it can be a dangerous job but I have extreme security measures in place that I feel pretty comfortable with. I don't have a record but I know friends that do and it is a fear.. But overall.. I'm very happy.

The hobby is what you make it. I don't have many expenses and no dependants so I'm lucky that I can pick and choose who I want to see or see no one at all, and I think that makes a big difference. I'm also ok with being low volume and not making much money.. I'm a simple person that doesn't care about expensive things so I don't have to always be shopping.. that also makes a big difference... Though since moving to Dallas my tastes have become a little more expensive and a bit more refined, lol

Bambi, your perspective is not surprising considering your adorable personality and the determined, open minded attitude you have maintained from the start. As Miss Star has a similar attitude, I'm sure she would agree that you get so much out of this lifestyle because you put so much into it. And you both have the reputations to prove it.

I am in agreement with the gentlemen who have seriously responded to your question. I will add this. As an older gentleman who has 'no game' and never did, this world is the only place where being a gentleman is an advantage appreciated by young ladies and even sought after. Real world ladies, I'm out of luck with. They are looking for a cute, off-the-wall over-the-top remark, GAD! I hate games.
Here is my reality. I hobby when I can with who I want. And the fee I regard as the 'don't bother me with your problems'-insurance guaranty. Sorry if I have rambled.
