Which type of persons Visit Providers?

NCNS (and not NCIS) is never good (while NCIS is normally great). Respect is something we hobbyists bitch about sometimes, but the providers equally deserve, if in fact probably not more often. NCNS is never cool barring some exigent circumstance. (And I am not saying anyone was or was not a NCNS to pre-empt the hate.)

I may contact a couple for a date/time, but when one confirms an agreed time, I let the other one know I would like to schedule a different time. I've never missed a date so far and hope it stays that way. Hobbyists don't owe a detailed reason why they cancel or reschedule and providers don't owe us an explanation either. I'd rather you just offer to reschedule... Your private life is just that. Just be courteous with each other's time and communicate in a timely fashion.

As for OP question, why does it matter why somebody else hobbies? Serious question. What do you hope to get from answers? I'd ask yourself why do you hobby and why do you feel bad about it lately? And can you live with continuing in it?

Like Michael Jackson said, make friends with the man in the mirror... He is the only one who can really answer your questions.

There was a time when I wondered about this myself. So I went to a meet and greet and it was as though I had walked through the curtain at a circus side show. "I will never consider myself plain again." I thought as I laughed to myself.

Then over time and other M & G's later I have seen that the throngs of gents and ladies are just like you see in everyday life. People smiling and joking and a wallflower here or there and the wealthy guy has his 2 ATF's in tight conversation all evening long.

In my limited time in the hobby, I have found that it is always a good thing to have a plan B. That being said, politeness and respect should be at the forefront of our practices as to avoid unpleasant occurrences such as NCNS's!
