All you had to do was bump into Trump, say "Pardon me", and he would do it. That is how low his mentality is.
Dunno where you’re getting your data but that’s simply incorrect. It is, in fact, the opposite of reality. Trump used the power to pardon and grant clemency sparingly, less than nearly all his predecessors. A paltry 2% of requests were approved.

That is because Trump used the power to pardon his cronies.

How many others pardoned their White House chief strategist.....before he was even indicted ? This shows Trump knew he was a crook.

Also the father of his son in law.

And his enforcer Roger Stone.......who is on voice recordings recommending a hit.

so much for Trump pardoning "anyone who asked"

Trump also posthumously pardoned Susan B. Anthony and boxer Jack Johnson

why did it take so long for a president, Democrat or Republican to do this?

No, but your comment reveals you have nothing but contempt for the American legal principle of "innocent until proven guilty".

Don't Presidential pardons have to be specific? You can't receive a blanket pardon for anything and everything you ever did or will do.

You do know the federal Government has the power to break any American citizen with bogus charges and indictments, right? Innocent or not, how long could YOU afford to fight them when your swamp defense lawyers are billing you $1500 an hour? Once they sense you're out of money, they'll start pushing you into a plea deal... innocent or not.

Trump may have been trying to spare some people from being bankrupted by the feds. But hey, you automatically think everyone who ever worked for him is a crook, dontcha?

Even with a pardon, Mr. Steve Bannon managed to get himself into trouble after that.....a lot of trouble.

More court cases coming up for him......so....you still are not able to realize he is a crook ? Even Trump was able to figure than out.

Absolutely! They do this to everyone from innocent young men from the hood up on **** charges to Michael Flynn.

Trump should have given out a lot more pardons. Whoever was advising him wasn't doing his (or her) job. Hopefully Biden will get busy on that before he leaves office.

Who can discuss why the power of the pardon exists ?

And only in America ? You can be sure a lot of countries don't have it.

Would one Hunter Biden pardon equal one Charles Kushner pardon (father of son in law Jared).
